From a precipitation point of view Reef Creek Campground is a pretty common place; June is the wettest month with most rain; October is when it's the driest. On a splendid day at Reef Creek Campground you can take a hike along the Lewis and Clark Trail; there's whitewater on Crandall Creek for all you adrenaline kick people.
