  Porcupine Campground is one of the sites to camp here in the Bighorn Mountains. Some of the things you can do here at Porcupine Campground are swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Just can't get enough of the Bighorn Mountains. Don't leave Porcupine Campground without first going for a hike along the Elkhorn Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Shell Creek.
Such a great pick of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came.
    Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Porcupine Campground. There are wonderful places to discover along the Little Horn Trail, and Bald Mountain Creek is close to Porcupine Campground and is always a pleasure to check out.
You've been
indoors for too much time, you have to get out of the house, and Porcupine Campground is a tremendous local campground if you happen to be in Wyoming. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Dry Fork Trail; Wyoming Gulch is a fine place to spend some time. Summertime highs at Porcupine Campground commonly tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows through the winter for Porcupine Campground tend to be in the 10's.

entertaining stuff to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Camping in Wyoming is such an enjoyable thing to do. It's totally impossible to run out of cool things to do right next door to Porcupine Campground; when you're here you're always having a tremendous time.
This campground is a nice site to go to. The Burnt Trail offers hiking at its best, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lampman Reservoir is just a very short distance away. There's splendid hiking along the Dry Horse Trail; Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area is a great site nearby.

Not much precipitation falls here at Porcupine Campground; the month with most of the rain is May, and February on the other hand is the driest.
