Lava Creek Campgrounds, Absaroka Range, Wyoming

  Lava Creek Campgrounds is a great camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Absaroka Range. Yeah, come up here to the Absaroka Range for a magnificent time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lava Creek Campgrounds; Lower Blacktail Trail is a splendid
    local trail, and get covered with water paddling on Mulherin Creek. For the period of the summertime months at Lava Creek Campgrounds highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 30's

This campground is so picturesque.
Be careful coming to the Absaroka Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. Gallatin National Forest is a pretty place any time of year; wonderful hiking is available along the Lower Blacktail Trail. Lava Creek Campgrounds is pretty dried up regularly; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
Wyoming has such an incredible array of things to offer nature lovers. A lot of folks stay at Lava Creek Campgrounds in order to be close to Yellowstone National Park.
