This is such a fun place for a campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ditch Creek, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Lava Creek. This campground is always a joy. There are pleasant sites to explore along the Whetstone Creek Trail; if you're here, you could also visit scenic Halfmoon Lake. Near Lava Creek Campground you come across the Lava Creek Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; pretty scenery
and delightful skiing is what you get at Snow King. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do next to Lava Creek Campground, and being here is always fun. From a rainfall point of view Lava Creek Campground is a quite normal place; during the month of January you get the most snow
around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. There's a load of outdoors recreation available around here such as whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, and fishing, so running out of exciting stuff to do won’t happen.
