  Wyoming has so much to offer nature lovers. There's whitewater on Snake River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and the Emma Matilda Lake Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This is such a fun place for a campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ditch Creek, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Lava Creek.
Going for a hike on the Two Ocean Lake Trail is always a nice adventure, and Davis Hill is beautiful and can be made out from here. Through the summer months at Lava Creek Campground
    temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 30's. All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Lava Creek Campground.
Don't leave Lava Creek Campground without
first going for a hike along the Atlantic Pacific Creek Trail, and Grand Teton National Park is a perfect local destination. Anxious to pitch that tent; Lava Creek Campground, Wyoming is a great spot for getting out. The splendid variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will definitely have you coming back again and again.
If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Gros Ventre River, and nearby Wallace Draw is a great location to go.
 
This campground is always a joy. There are pleasant sites to explore along the Whetstone Creek Trail; if you're here, you could also visit scenic Halfmoon Lake.
Near Lava Creek Campground you come across the Lava Creek Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; pretty scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Snow King.
Quite a lot of cool stuff to do next to Lava Creek Campground, and being here is always fun.
From a rainfall point of view Lava Creek Campground is a quite normal place; during the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. There's a load of outdoors recreation available around here such as whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, and fishing, so running out of exciting stuff to do won’t happen.
