| | We love Jenny Lake and want to camp their with our family and friends...4 kids, 4 adults. I am worried about not having reservations....is that a problem? Says Katie Kirgan
Jenny Lake Campground was awesome. The view was amazing. It was quite and secluded, the camp store is just a short walk from the camping sites. The lake is beautiful and quiet, no boats zipping around. We stayed at site #50, other sites that I would recommend are 45,46 and 47. These sites have the best view. form all of the touristy things you should definitly stay at Jenny Lake. If you get there in the afternoon grab a site. You can always move the next day. It seemed like a lot of people only stayed 1 night. Says Deanna
There's wonderful hiking along the Jenny Lake Trail;
| get yourself into a kayak and hit Ditch Creek. A lake nearby is Ramshield Lake, and do take a hike on the String Lake Trail. Grand Teton National Park is a perfect local destination here at Jenny Lake Campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Jenny Lake Campground; Jenny Lake Moraine Horse Trail is a fine local trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Snake River.
