It's a brilliant idea to explore Jack Creek, it's in the neighborhood of Jack Creek Campground, and Buffalo Bill State Park is a splendid location to go. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored.
Jack Creek Campground is pretty dried up usually; all through May this area sees the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. So much entertaining stuff near Jack Creek Campground, truly impressive.
 
On a perfect day at Jack Creek Campground you can take a hike along the Jack Creek Trail, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Martin Lake Dam. Don't leave Jack Creek Campground without first going for a hike along the South Piney Trail, and get soaked paddling on Shoshone River.
Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. There is a wonderful hiking trail near Jack Creek Campground called the Piney Creek Trail. The good variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are fine motives to come.
