Holmes Campground, Medicine Bow Mountains, Wyoming   Holmes Campground is one of the spots to camp here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Holmes Campground is usually a relatively dried out location; April is when you get the most rain here while January is mostly the driest month. Lots of fun is at this campground. Snowy Range is a splendid site to do that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Rob Roy Reservoir. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more entertaining stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. The Arlington Pack Trail offers hiking at its best, and spots like State Forest State Park are great to explore. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Dave Creek is a stream that you may come across while you're here,   and there's always Rob Roy Dam to take a look at near Holmes Campground. There's whitewater on Laramie River for all you adrenaline junkies; don't leave Holmes Campground without first going for a hike along the Circle Trail. Quite a lot of amusing things to do in close proximity to Holmes Campground; campgrounds like these are great. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, and hiking, so running out of amusing things to do won’t happen.
