Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Lakes Trail. Be careful coming to the Medicine Bow Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Going to State Forest State Park near Holmes Campground is a tremendous thing to do; Moores Gulch is a brilliant   location to spend some time. It is very dry here at Holmes Campground frequently; April is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the summer months highs here at Holmes Campground reach the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's.
