What a spot this is for outdoors people. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Snake River, and don't leave Gros Ventre Campground without first going for a hike along the Beaver Creek
| Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Gros Ventre Campground; Bradley Lake Trail is a wonderful local trail, and a day on the slopes of Snow King is just what you need. This campground is so nice. If you come at the right time of year, Gros Ventre River offers some delightful whitewater; there's delightful hiking along the Taggart Lake Trail.
