  a hike on the Fire Memorial Trail is always a delightful adventure, and pleasant hiking is available along the Ishawooa Trail. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Elk Fork Campground get into the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 30's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Elk Fork Campground fall into the 0's.
