A campground like this is too splendid to miss. While you're here at Douglas Creek Campground you can take a hike along the Circle Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Medicine Bow Mountains for a tremendous time. On a wonderful day at Douglas Creek Campground you can take a hike along the Medicine Bow Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can  
always pop by nearby Rob Roy Reservoir.
There's plenty of outdoors recreation available in the neighborhood such as hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so you won’t get bored. This campground is so splendid. There's whitewater on Laramie River for all you thrill seekers, and nearby you hit upon the Arlington Pack Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. At Douglas Creek Campground you don’t see much precipitation; throughout the month of April you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January.
What a place this is for outdoors people. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on North Platte River, and there's some flowing water nearby, White Swan Creek is a stream you can explore while here. Douglas Creek Campground is in the vicinity of Medicine Bow National Forest which is a beautiful location, and there are plenty of people from Laramie here.
