    whitewater rafting or kayaking on this bit of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River unless you think your whitewater rafting or kayaking capabilities are very good. Don't go whitewater rafting or kayaking prior to first checking restrictions;
  it's perilous stuff. While you're here at Dead Indian Campground you can take a hike along the Trout Creek Trail, and let's not forget Elk Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. The Lewis and Clark Trail is a perfect hiking trail close to Dead Indian Campground, and Black Canyon Lake is a good lake close by.
