You can run the rapids of Tongue River near Coffeen Park Campground, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Game Creek Trail. There is so much amusing stuff to do near Coffeen Park Campground, and when you're here you're always having a good time. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. A visit to Wyoming is not complete without some camping. During the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 60's at Coffeen Park Campground. Summer night lows dip down to the 30's. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Bighorn Mountains. Paintrock Creek is a great whitewater spot right next door to Coffeen Park Campground, and going for a hike on the Tepee Trail is always a tremendous adventure. If you don't
mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tensleep Creek, and you certainly should go to Bighorn National Forest if you're here. It is very dry here at Coffeen Park Campground usually; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most snow,
and the driest month of the year is February. Everybody should go for a weekend of camping occasionally, and Coffeen Park Campground in Wyoming is a good location to go. This is a fine campground. There are other sites here than Coffeen Park Campground, for example Duncan Lake, and close by you come across the Edelman Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
