Big Goose Campground, Bighorn Mountains, Wyoming

| | So many local attractions and such a vast number of things to do will make you pleased you came. There's more to do right next door to Big Goose Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of cool stuff to do won’t happen. This camp ground is positioned in the gorgeous Bighorn Mountains. A visit to Rosebud Battlefield State Park when you're here at Big Goose Campground is a fine idea, and the Tepee Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.

neighborhood of Bighorn National Forest. Near Big Goose Campground you find the Bear Gulch Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and lots of people from Wolf come here.
Throughout the long summer days highs here at Big Goose Campground reach the 60's; the night is rather
| colder of course, typically in the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Big Goose Campground. This is such a fun spot for a campground. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Antelope Butte, and going for a hike on the Roosevelt Trail is always a great adventure.
This campground is a gorgeous spot to stop at. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Paintrock Creek, and you can run the rapids of Tensleep Creek. Got cabin fever from too much time inside, No problem; Big | |

Goose Campground in Wyoming is the outdoors at its most excellent.
So many entertaining things to do here at Big Goose Campground, too great to be true. Big Goose Park is right here at Big Goose Campground; a wonderful spot like Bighorn National Forest is too glorious to leave
out. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Bighorn Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Tongue River, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Game Creek Trail.
There
is so much cool stuff to do next to Big Goose Campground, and it is a fun place for the whole family. These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing stuff to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Looking for some flowing water? Try Babione Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Cliff
Lake Trail.
Wyoming is a magnificent outdoors state. Big Goose Campground gets very little rain; April is the wettest month with most snow, and February is the month with the least moisture.
