There's some flowing water nearby, Atherton Creek is a stream you can have a look at while you're here, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Granite Creek. Good hiking is available along the Two Ocean Lake Trail; the wonderful people of Jackson like to hang out close by. And that's not all you can do here at Atherton Creek Campground. Get dripping wet paddling on Gros Ventre River, and going for a hike on the Granite Highline Trail is always a wonderful adventure. | |

This campground is so striking. There are good places to discover along the Emma Matilda Lake Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Ditch Creek. The great variety of local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are delightful reasons to come. Through
the days of summer here at Atherton Creek Campground, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Atherton Creek Campground. This is truly a perfect campground.
