You can run the rapids of Stony Creek - North fork Shenandoah Tributary in close proximity to Trout Pond Campground, and you'll meet a lot of people from Lost City here. recreation will absolutely have you coming back time and again. At Trout Pond Campground through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. All through the winter the highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Trout Pond Campground
dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This campground has everything. Rockcliff Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and Bens Hill is a peak you can spot from Trout Pond Campground.
