    portion of Cherry River - North Fork is recommended for whitewater boaters of medium know-how. You must check conditions prior to departure; whitewater rafting and kayaking can become risky. Going to Holly River State Park in close
  proximity to Summit Lake Campground is a magnificent thing to do, and Summit Lake Dam is a location that is in close proximity to Summit Lake Campground. Hiking along the Pocahontas Trail is magnificent fun; a round of golf at nearby Mountain View Golf Course is a good way to kill some time. This campground is so splendid. There's good hiking along the Hanging Rock Trail, and a quick journey to Big Lick Run is absolutely a good idea.
