Hole Campground without visiting Blackwater Falls State Park, and Long Run is in the neighborhood of Smoke Hole Campground and is always a bliss to check out. While you're here at Smoke Hole Campground you can take a hike along the North Mountain Trail; a spree here wouldn’t
be complete without a trip to nearby Lost River State Park. This campground has so much. A great spot for whitewater paddling close to Smoke Hole Campground is Potomac River - South Branch; Eagle Rock is a wonderful location to go to while in the vicinity. Smoke Hole Campground is right by the South Branch Trail, and the top of Cave Mountain is easily seen from Smoke Hole Campground.
