Going camping here in West Virginia is something you must do. At Seneca Campground through the warm months highs are in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Seneca Campground.

Campground you will meet lots of folks from nearby Onego, and on a great day you can take a hike along the High Meadows Trail.
Drift down the rapids of Waites Run in a kayak, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Canaan Valley since you're here. What a
spot this is for outdoors folks. Monongahela National Forest is a delightful site; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Horton Trail. You have to get out of the house, and Seneca Campground in West Virginia is a really magnificent place to spend some time.
Lots of rainfall falls at Seneca Campground; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
