If the weather is good here at Seneca Campground, you can go for a hike along the Allegheny Trail; of course Strader Run flows through this neighborhood. A campground like this is too magnificent to miss. If you come at the right time of year, Seneca Creek offers some wonderful whitewater, and since you're here you
    can take a hike along the Little Allegheny Trail. Blackwater Falls State Park is a great site to pop by, and going for a hike on the Lumberjack Trail is always a good adventure.
A number of folks stay at Seneca Campground when they come to explore Blackwater Falls State Park.
This is a magnificent campground. Seneca Campground is exceptionally popular with the folks from Onego.
Going camping here in West Virginia is something you must do. At Seneca Campground through the warm months highs are in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Seneca Campground.
There's such a great deal of things to do at Seneca Campground including hiking, and whitewater paddling, so there's no way to get bored. While you're here at Seneca
 
Campground you will meet lots of folks from nearby Onego, and on a great day you can take a hike along the High Meadows Trail.
Drift down the rapids of Waites Run in a kayak, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Canaan Valley since you're here. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Monongahela National Forest is a delightful site; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Horton Trail. You have to get out of the house, and Seneca Campground in West Virginia is a really magnificent place to spend some time.
Lots of rainfall falls at Seneca Campground; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
