Little River Campground, West Virginia   Camping out sure is a pleasant thing to do, and Little River Campground is a wonderful local campground if you happen to be in West Virginia. In West Virginia you never run out of outdoors entertaining things. A lot of folks camp here for the purpose of being close to Monongahela National Forest. At Little River Campground throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Little River Campground. If only every     site had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. A journey to Monongahela National Forest when you're here at Little River Campground is a delightful idea, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Little River Campground; East Fork Trail is a great local trail. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Snowshoe; you'll meet a lot of people from Durbin here. This campground has so much. Hansford Run is next to Little River Campground and is always a pleasure to pop by, and from Little River Campground you acquire a great panorama of Lynn Knob. There's such a great deal of things to do close to Little River Campground, and if you're searching for a wonderful place to go camping, this is a glorious selection. There's more to do near Little River Campground other than just hanging   out such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's just not possible to get bored. Greenbrier River - East Fork is a good whitewater spot right next door to Little River Campground, and going for a hike on the Lynn Knob Trail is always a great adventure. Little River Campground is a top pick with the folks of Durbin. Scores of fun is at this campground. A visit to Cass Railroad State Park when you're here at Little River Campground is never a bad idea; you can go for a hike on the Camp Five Trail. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Greenbrier River - East Fork; perfect hiking is available along the Chaffey Trail. Little River Campground sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Greenbrier River - West Fork, and nearby you discover the Hinkle Run Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
