There's lots of outdoors recreation available in the neighborhood such as fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. The Route 55 to Route 11 segment has a span of 20 miles; you come across this bit of whitewater on Cedar Creek. It's a grade I-II bit. It's probably ok to go whitewater rafting | |

is next to Cold Spring Gap which is undeniably worth checking out. Everybody close by loves skiing at Bryce Resort; there's fine hiking along the Stony Creek Trail. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. The cheerful folks of Capon Springs like to hang out nearby, and good hiking is available along the Little Sluice Mountain Trail.
