For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The Hill Top Trail offers hiking at its best; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Greenbrier River. All the outdoors fun stuff close to Bird Run
Campground will keep you coming back time and again. A spree to Seneca State Forest invigorates the soul, and hiking along the Peters Mountain Trail is nice fun. Bird Run Campground is a campground that is fantastically prized by the residents of Dunmore.

County Pumped Storage Lake is in the neighborhood. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. Everybody loves Cass Railroad State Park; some of the water nearby flows, like Bird Run.

in West Virginia is a really pleasant location to spend some time. There's great hiking along the Paddy Knob Trail, and at Bird Run Campground you always meet someone from Dunmore.
