| At Bird Run Campground amusing stuff to do is plentiful; campgrounds like these are magnificent. Don't forget to take a great little visit to Bird Run, and you can go for a hike on the Scarlet Oak Trail. Through the warm months here at Bird Run Campground, high temperatures usually reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Bird Run Campground.

River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. Bird Run Campground is a wet place that gets much precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
Such a great pick of attractions and such a
great variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. There's fine hiking along the McGuffin Trail, and Slate Lick Knob is clearly visible from Bird Run Campground. Many folks camp here during their journey to Seneca State Forest.
If you come to this campground,
you will have a wonderful time for sure. Cass Railroad State Park is both great and lovely, and it's in the vicinity of Bird Run Campground, and you without doubt should explore Seneca State Forest if you're here. If you are in West Virginia through camping season, you must go camping.
