The amount of rainfall that falls at Pine River Campground is close to the national average; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. As if Pine River Campground wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so running out of amusing stuff to do won’t happen.

If you come at the right time of year, Pine River offers some brilliant whitewater, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Brule is rather near. Going for a hike along the Anvil Lake Trail System will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; don't forget to take a wonderful little trip to Kimball Creek.
This campground has everything. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Wolf River; hiking along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail is pleasant fun.

Argonne. Any time is a magnificent time at Pine River Campground if you love the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Brule River, and do take a hike on the Kimball Creek Trail. While you're here at Pine River Campground you can take a hike along the Eds Lake Trail System, and a spree to Nicolet National Forest when you're here is never a bad idea.
Camping out unquestionably is a pleasant thing to do, and Pine River Campground is a great local campground if you happen to be in Wisconsin. High temperatures at Pine River Campground through the months of summer are in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Pine River Campground are in the-10's.
