Wickiup Campground, Blue Mountains, Washington   The brilliant variety of local attractions and such a brilliant variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back again and again. The surroundings of this campground have so much stuff to offer. If you come at the right time of year, Grande Ronde River offers some magnificent whitewater; there's splendid hiking along the July Ridge Trail. A day on the slopes of Bluewood is just what you need, and you can go for a hike on the North Fork Asotin Creek Trail.   The Indian Tom Trail offers hiking at its best; when you're here it's always fun to explore Hells Gate State Park. What a location this is for outdoors people. Mount Harrible is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Wickiup Campground, and close by Cabin Saddle is a perfect place to go. Around Wickiup Campground you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain; July is when it's the driest. That right there is heaps of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Blue Mountains has it all. Going for a hike on the West Wenatchee Trail is always a pleasant adventure. There is so much enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Wickiup Campground, and when you have had the opportunity to enjoy this campground you will feel like a whole new person.
