A lot of people select White River Campground in order to be close to Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. This is such a glorious campground. Get covered with water paddling on Chinook Creek, and hiking along the Moraine Trail is magnificent fun. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range rocks! Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cowlitz River - Muddy Fork, and going for a hike along the Flip-O-Way Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is a pleasant location, and Frozen Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out.
During the days of summer highs here at White River Campground get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's; night lows at White River Campground through the winter regularly sink into the 30's.
