War Creek Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington Custom Search   From a rainfall point of view War Creek Campground is a reasonably common spot; December is when you get the most snow here, and July on the other hand is the driest. The great local attractions and so much stuff to do are great reasons to come. There are some fine whitewater spots on Twisp River, and Pearrygin Lake State Park is both perfect and striking. If the weather is nice here at War Creek Campground, you can go for a hike along the Driveway Butte Trail, and     Okanogan National Forest is a fine place to go to on a pretty day. The Monument Creek Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near War Creek Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Chewuch River. At War Creek Campground all through the summertime highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at War Creek Campground dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more cool things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Methow   River; do go to War Creek if you're here at War Creek Campground. There's such a large number of things to do in the vicinity of War Creek Campground, and when you get to enjoy this place for a while you will feel like a new person.
