Tumwater Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington   Tumwater is my favorite campground. I have been to so many because I am a WA native. There are many sites that sit on the river or creek. The grounds are beautiful and plenty close to Leavenworth. Says Melissa Tumwater Campground is a top choice with people in Leavenworth. Tumwater Campground is a good location of typical precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; July is when it's the driest. So many local attractions and so many things to do will make you glad you came. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Northern Cascade     Range will keep you coming back persistently. The Icicle Trail offers hiking at its best, and you can run the rapids of Nason River. As if Tumwater Campground wasn't enough, you can also go playing golf, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Lots of fun is at this campground. Leavenworth Golf Club is a golf course right next door to Tumwater Campground, and a visit to Lake Wenatchee State Park is a good idea. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Tumwater Campground; Snow Lakes Trail is a wonderful local trail; the slopes of Mission Ridge are so inviting nobody can resist. Tumwater Campground is one of the spots to camp here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Tumwater Campground. There's whitewater on Wenatchee   River for all you adrenaline people; why not take a refreshing hike along the County Line Trail. This part of Washington is always a bliss to take a look at through camping season. Some people stay here to stop at close by Lake Wenatchee State Park. Tumwater Campground is right by the Miller Peak Trail, and a visit to Wenatchee National Forest when you're here is never a bad idea. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a brilliant time. At Tumwater Campground you always meet someone from Leavenworth; Josephine Crag is something you shouldn't miss if you're here. Tumwater Campground is situated in a vicinity with loads of cool stuff to do, and it is a fine escape from the city. This campground is a wonderful spot to stop at. Take a hike on the Hunters Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Hatchery Creek. During the summer months, highs regularly are in the 60's at Tumwater Campground. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 20's while Tumwater Campground night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's.
