Swauk Campground, Washington   we have been having our family reunin at this campgroung for over 40 years, you dont keep coming back if you dont love it. although you may wanna avoid it the weekend after the 4th of july each year its pretty full and loud Says Teanna All the splendid local attractions close at hand and such a splendid variety of outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back time and again. Near Swauk Campground you stumble on the Red Hill Trail which is a great hiking trail, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling     on Icicle Creek. Some activities here at Swauk Campground are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. There's so much to do near Swauk Campground, and to be here is always fun. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Swauk Campground while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Swauk Campground plunge into the 20's. At Swauk Campground you always meet someone from Ellensburg; hey, Gotta ski right? Mission Ridge is a splendid location to do that.
