There's some flowing water close by, Gibson Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here; a trip to Fort Okanogan State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Sugarloaf Campgrounds. There are wonderful sites to look at along the Ray Trail, unsurprisingly you could also go to Fish Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. most of the snow falls during December; July on the other hand is the driest. And if that's not enough there's plenty more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. There is a glorious hiking trail in the neighborhood of Sugarloaf Campgrounds called the Funk Mountain
| Trail; close by you stumble on the Sarsapkin Creek Trail which is a fine hiking trail. This is such a striking campground. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Fish Lake Dam; going for a hike on the Coxit Creek Trail is always a nice adventure. Sugarloaf Campgrounds is a campground esteemed by people of Conconully. River offers some magnificent whitewater, and skiing at Loup Loup Ski Bowl is one of those things you just have to do. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Methow River, and you'll almost
certainly meet some people from Conconully here. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Sugarloaf Campgrounds, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's
while Sugarloaf Campgrounds overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. The pleasant selection of local attractions, and the close by outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back again and again. Lots of people camp here to be in the neighborhood of
Conconully State Park. Don't leave Sugarloaf Campgrounds without first going for a hike along the Muckamuck Trail. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. Schalow Mountain can be distinguished from Sugarloaf Campgrounds, and a visit to Conconully State Park is a great idea.
