There is a magnificent hiking trail near Stout Campground called the Round The Mountain Trail, and obviously Dry Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth stopping at. The delightful variety of local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. Stout Campground is a campground that is very prized by visitors from Glenwood. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Stout Campground. Don't leave Stout Campground without visiting Mayer State Park, and there are good places to look at along the Little White Salmon Trail. Some of the things you can do here at Stout Campground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's completely out of the question to get bored. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always charming.
