South Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington

| | On a glorious day at South Campground you can take a hike along the Table Mountain Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Quartz Creek. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; South Campground has it all. There are some great whitewater spots on Lewis River - North Fork, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Ridge Trail. Washington is a perfect location for outdoors folks. location; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is July. High temperatures at South Campground during the long summer days are in the 70's, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, usually in the 50's.
| All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at South Campground. During your spree to South Campground you'll meet some folks from Hood River for sure, and going for a hike on the Lusk Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Some activities here at South Campground are fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so running out of entertaining stuff to do won’t happen. This is such a great campground. Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is bountiful here in the Northern Cascade Range. A quick trip to Upper Tillicum Creek in the vicinity of South Campground is a wonderful idea, and since you're here you can take a hike along the East Crater Trail.
Alright, time to get out and breathe some fresh air, time has come to get out, and South Campground is a perfect local campground if you happen to be in Washington. This campground is so great. Starvation Creek State Park is a great place to go if you're at South Campground,
and from South Campground you get a magnificent view of Twin Buttes. At South Campground amusing stuff to do is bountiful, and camping is such a fun thing to do, and this is a perfect location to do that. The pleasant variety of local attractions and such a pleasant variety
of outdoors recreation are great incentives to come. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Glide down the rapids of Lewis River - North Fork in a kayak; Big Mosquito Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
