Shuksan Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington Custom Search   There's absolutely no way to run out of exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Shuksan Campground; it sure is a magnificent campground. There are some good whitewater spots on Baker River, and do visit Picture Lake, it's a charming lake. If you come to this campground, you will have a magnificent time for sure. Near Shuksan Campground you come across nice spots like Welcome Pass; get yourself into a kayak and hit Ruth Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Shuksan Campground a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July. If you come at the right time of year, Nooksack   River - North Fork offers some glorious whitewater, and Rockport State Park is a wonderful place to stretch your legs a bit. A visit to Washington is not complete without some camping.
