Unsurprisingly amenities are few in a primitive campground like this, and obviously it may be tough to get to a primitive campground such as this one, but it's worth the effort. Among the things you can do close to Sauk River Campground are fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so you won’t get bored. We must all go for a weekend of camping
 
    every now and then; Sauk River Campground in Washington is such a glorious spot.

The Quartz Creek to North Fork Skykomish sector has a distance of 1.5 miles; you locate this part of whitewater on Silver Creek. It's a class IV-V part. For proficient kayak paddlers this part of Silver Creek is a fun spot to raft.
