One of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Saddle Campground is Twin Buttes; since you're here you can take a hike along the Cougar Way. The surroundings of this campground have so much stuff to offer. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lewis River - North Fork; Saddle Campground is right by the Table Mountain Trail. This campground is so glorious. at Saddle Campground, you could also check out wonderful Little Mosquito Lake, and Saddle Campground is close to Starvation Creek State Park which is a beautiful location.
All the perfect local attractions close at hand and such a vast number of things to do are good motives to come. A good place for whitewater paddling close to Saddle Campground is Lewis River - North Fork, and hiking along the Ridge Trail is good fun.
Much rain falls at Saddle Campground; December is the month that gets the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is abundant here in the Northern Cascade Range. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Lusk Creek Trail, and you definitely must explore Gifford Pinchot National Forest while you're here.
Summer at Saddle Campground comes with high temperatures in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 30's; overnight lows in the 20's for Saddle Campground. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. Quartz Creek is a perfect whitewater spot near Saddle Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the East Crater Trail.
