Campground are hiking, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so it's impossible to get bored. You're in all probability addicted to lakes, Buckhorn Lake is one of those close by, and what would winter be without some skiing at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge. For the period

For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to River Campground. What a site this is for outdoors people. a tremendous spot like Pleasant Harbor State Park is too nice to leave out. There is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to River Campground called the Tubal Cain Mine Trail; Olympic National Park is one of the destinations that are fine to go to nearby. All the good
local attractions in close proximity and so many things to do will certainly have you coming back persistently. This campground is so good. Near River Campground you find the Royal Creek Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and do stop at Silver Creek while you're here
at River Campground. River Campground is one of the locations to camp here in the Olympic Mountains. Many folks choose this campground for the purpose of being near Sequim Bay State Park. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff near River Campground. Go for a hike
on the Baldy Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Dungeness River. While staying at River Campground you could always discover Tull Canyon; if you come at the right time of year, Gray Wolf River offers some good whitewater.
This section of Washington has a nice deal of outdoors activities available. This is such a good campground. Drift down the rapids of Dungeness River in a kayak; River Campground is not far at all from Sequim. Around River Campground you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December; July on the other hand is the driest.
