There's loads of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. The tremendous local attractions and so much stuff to do will make you glad you came. This campground is so good. There are wonderful places to discover along the Baldy Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Dungeness River offers some brilliant whitewater. be in the neighborhood of Sequim Bay State Park. This camp ground is situated in the beautiful Olympic Mountains. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Olympic Mountains. At River Campground you always meet someone from Sequim, and Olympic National Park is a magnificent
| national park. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at River Campground. Pleasant Harbor State Park is a pleasant spot to stop at on a gorgeous day. River Campground is exceptionally popular with the folks from Sequim. The top of Maynard Peak is easily made out from River Campground, and you might also want to pay a visit to Tull Canyon while you're here at River Campground. Dungeness River, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Tubal Cain Mine Trail. Go for a hike on the Bear Mountain Trail, and needless to say Silver Creek flows through this area. All through the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 60's at River Campground.
Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at River Campground are in the 30's. There are some good whitewater spots on Gray Wolf River, and a spree to Sequim Bay State Park when you're here is
never a bad idea. Everybody needs to go camping now and then, and River Campground in Washington is the outdoors at its best. There's such a large number of things to do in the neighborhood of River Campground, and what a pleasant spot for camping it is. Not enough hours
in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. Going for a hike on the Clink Trail is always a good adventure. Lakes are wonderful; Charlia Lakes is a lake that's in close proximity to River Campground. It is very dried up here at River Campground frequently; December is the wettest
month with most rain while July is usually the driest month. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at River Campground. Near River Campground you find the Royal Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge.
