As if River Bar Campground wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do right next door to River Bar Campground; camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a great spot to do that. Clear Creek is a good   whitewater spot next to River Bar Campground; lots of people from Granite Falls come here. This campground is so beautiful. You can run the rapids of Stillaguamish River - South Fork right next door to River Bar Campground, obviously you could also stop by Clear Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. A great place for whitewater paddling next to River Bar Campground is Squire Creek, and a journey to Wallace Falls State Park invigorates the soul. So many exciting things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too nice to be true. For the duration of the summertime highs here at River Bar Campground reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's with temperatures at River Bar Campground dipping down into the 30's during winter nights.
