There's loads of outdoors recreation available close at hand such as whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
River Bar Campground is a very popular campground among campers from Packwood.

    you will love a primitive campground like this one; getting to this primitive campground could be a bit demanding, but it's well worth it. Such a great selection of attractions and such a great deal of things to do are pleasant incentives

Camping out certainly is an entertaining thing to do; River Bar Campground, Washington is a delightful location for getting out.
If you are in Washington all through camping season, you must go camping. There is so much fun stuff near River Bar Campground; it certainly is a delightful campground. Near River Bar Campground is a glorious 7.6-mile-from-beginning-to-end sweep of whitewater on Cowlitz River, a grade II, this is the La Wis Wis Campground
 
    to Packwood portion. This portion of Cowlitz River is suggested for novice whitewater boaters. Don't go kayak paddling in advance of first checking circumstances; it's treacherous matter. A lovely backpacking trail in the vicinity
  is Backbone Ridge Trail; it's 2.4 miles from start to finish and has a height variation of 1,833 feet. A difficult backpacking trail it is; Backbone Ridge Trail requires around three and a half hours to backcountry hike. Glorious backpacking awaits you on the close at hand Packwood Lake Trail; this backcountry trail has an elevation variation of 384 feet and is 11.
