| | This campground is so splendid. There's tremendous hiking along the Duncan Hill Trail. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the West Fork Methow Trail is always a tremendous adventure; a visit here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Pearrygin Lake State Park. to do that. Poplar Flat Campground is incredibly popular with the folks from Stehekin. Good hiking is available along the Rainbow Lake Trail, and you can run the rapids of Lost River. During the summertime months here at Poplar Flat Campground, high temperatures commonly reach
| the 80's; the overnight is a little colder of course, commonly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Poplar Flat Campground.
