  There's magnificent hiking along the North Fork Asotin Creek Trail, and a trip to Fields Spring State Park is a good idea.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pataha Campground; Bear Creek Trail is a magnificent local trail, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bluewood. The great local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back again and again.
Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Pataha Campground. Nearby Arbothknott Canyon
    is a fine spot to go if you're at Pataha Campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Tucannon River Trail. It's really not good for you to be inside all the time; you need to get out occasionally, and Pataha Campground in Washington is just the location.
If you like
the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's totally impossible to get bored.
A campground like this is too glorious to miss. Have a great hiking adventure along the Low Saddle Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Grande Ronde River. Take a hike on the July Ridge Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Grande Ronde River offers some wonderful whitewater. It's just not possible to get bored in Washington if you adore the outdoors.

Central Ferry State Park in the neighborhood of Pataha Campground is a magnificent thing to do. Not much rainfall falls here at Pataha Campground; throughout December this area sees the most snow; the driest month of the year is July.
For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Pataha Campground reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Pataha Campground are in the 20's.
