The altitude difference is 702 feet for a charming 6.8-mile-in-distance wilderness hiking trail nearby; we are naturally speaking about the Tucannon River Trail. About five hours of hard hiking on the Tucannon River Trail is time well expended. With its 2,063 foot height variation it's a stunning wilderness hiking trail; the July Ridge Trail is 5.
