Palisades Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington   Palisades Campground is liked by the people of Packwood. Washington is a great place for outdoors people. Having a glorious time in the Northern Cascade Range is easy. This is such a stunning campground. While staying at Palisades Campground you could always explore Ayance Canyon, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Sheep Lake Trail. There's more to do near Palisades Campground other than just hanging out such as hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so running out of cool stuff to do won’t happen. Whohoo, so     much cool stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is excellent! Visit Cortright Creek while you're here at Palisades Campground, and don't leave Palisades Campground without first checking out Palisades. All the tremendous local attractions in close proximity and such a great deal of things to do will make you delighted you came. Palisades Campground is a wet place that gets lots of rain; most of the snow falls during January, and the driest month is July. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Palisades Campground. Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is a pleasant spot to stretch your legs a bit, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Backbone Ridge Trail. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Cowlitz River - Clear Fork, and scenic scenery and good skiing is what you obtain at White   Pass. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always stunning. The Boundary Trail is a splendid hiking trail next to Palisades Campground, and the peak of Laurel Hill can be distinguished from Palisades Campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. A good location for whitewater paddling close to Palisades Campground is Ohanepecosh River, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Packwood Lake Trail. This is such a tremendous campground. If the weather is great here at Palisades Campground, you can go for a hike along the Three Peaks Trail; you're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Bluff Lake is one of those nearby. You're sure to come across some fine folks from Packwood here, and you can run the rapids of Summit Creek. It's totally impossible to run out of entertaining things to do close to Palisades Campground; it is a very great campground. Be careful coming to Palisades Campground, you might not ever want to go back home again. Federation Forest State Park is a striking site any time of year, and if you haven’t been to Mount Rainier National Park, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here. Summertime at Palisades Campground comes with high temperatures in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Palisades Campground descend into the 20's. At last, camping time is here again, and Palisades Campground, Washington is a great place for getting out.
