  The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always lovely. There are some great whitewater spots on Summit Creek; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Backbone Ridge Trail. Places like Federation Forest State Park are tremendous to pop by, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Ohanepecosh River. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is a picturesque site any time of year, and the Boundary Trail is a nice hiking trail close by.

    you can do in close proximity to Ohanapecosh Campground are whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. A campground like this is too great to miss. Do pay a visit to Mount Rainier National Park if you're here
at Ohanapecosh Campground, and a lake nearby is Fir Lake.

During the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Ohanapecosh Campground. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Ohanapecosh Campground. This is a great campground. Crystal Mountain is a great local ski area, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Sheep Lake Trail. Eager to set up that camp site; Ohanapecosh Campground, Washington is a magnificent location for getting out.
Grove of the Patriarchs is a forest close to Ohanapecosh Campground that you can go to; if you come at the right time of year, Cowlitz River - Clear Fork offers some delightful whitewater.
