Ohanapecosh Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington

  There's so many things to do at Ohanapecosh Campground including fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so perhaps you want to stick around for a while. Ohanapecosh Campground is an old favorite with folks from Packwood.

All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Ohanapecosh Campground are in the 20's. All the tremendous local attractions in the vicinity and the tremendous variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back persistently. If you come to this campground, you will have a good time for sure. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Crystal Mountain is in the vicinity of Ohanapecosh Campground, and Laughingwater Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at.
Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is a splendid site to have a look at, and great hiking is available along the Boundary Trail. Get wet paddling on Ohanepecosh River, and don't leave Ohanapecosh Campground without first going for a hike along the Sheep Lake Trail.
You absolutely should love the Northern Cascade Range. Drift down the rapids of Cowlitz River - Clear Fork in a kayak; the views at Mount Rainier National Park will blow your mind.
