do in the Northern Cascade Range. You can run the rapids of Stetattle Creek next to Newhalem Campground, and the skiing at Mt.Baker is magnificent. Getting to Goodell Creek from Newhalem Campground is simple; Rockport State Park is a fine site to check out on a wonderful day. High
temperatures at Newhalem Campground throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Newhalem Campground are in the 30's.
