Napeequa Crossing Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington Custom Search   Well, most of the information in this little blurb is wrong: The nearest Metro area is not Ellensburg, it is Leavenworth. Lake Elsley? I have never heard of it, and have been in the area for 30 years. There is no such place called Indian Ponds anywhere around the campground. Though a beautiful hike, Napeequa Crossing to Twin Lakes is not an easy stroll, it is approximately 3.2+ miles one way, with many switchbacks, and to the average city person, a hard slog.       This Article makes it sound like White river falls are on the way to Twin Lakes, which they are not. They are reached by driving on up the valley 5 more miles or so to the correct turnout. Also, it should be mentioned that from the   beginning of camping season till Mid August, you should slather yourself in Bug repellant to keep from being eaten alive by Mosquitoes. The campground is located on the confluence of the White and Napeequa Rivers, which flow into Lake Wenatchee. Says Rich Windsor There aren't loads of services at Napeequa Crossing Campground given that it is a primitive campground. If you go for nature you will like a primitive campground like this one; in case natural       attractiveness is what you wish for, this primitive campground is what you have a need for. Getting to this primitive campground could be a tad difficult, but it's well worth it. It's been too much time since you went outside, and   Napeequa Crossing Campground in Washington is a glorious spot to go. Such a splendid selection of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. A lot of folks stay here in order to be near Wenatchee National Forest. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Washington.
