Twisp River has a class III sweep of whitewater nearby. The 10-mile-in-distance Buttermilk Creek to town of Twisp portion is good to run. This sweep of Twisp River is suited for whitewater paddlers who have been kayak paddling for some time but who are not yet ready for the exceptionally hazardous rapids. Naturally, kayak paddling is enjoyable but hazardous; check conditions ahead of going. Driveway Butte Trail is a lovely backcountry trail; it's 9.4 miles long and has a difference in height of 3,442 feet. Driveway Butte Trail requires one and a half days to trek; it's a challenging backcountry trail. There's
 
pleasant hiking along the Driveway Butte Trail, and lots of folks from Stehekin come here. This spot, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors entertaining things.
