    of Sullivan River could be a perfect whitewater paddling run. Naturally, whitewater paddling is cool but treacherous; check restrictions prior to departure. There are other spots here than Mill Pond Campground, for example Wolf Lake.
  Kaniksu National Forest is both great and beautiful, and it's in close proximity to Mill Pond Campground, and some close by water includes Elk Creek. This is truly a great campground. When you're here at Mill Pond Campground it's always fun to have a look at Crystal Falls State Park, and hey, Gotta ski right? Whitewater is a good site to do that. Why not pop by Sullivan Lake Dam while you're here, and you'll meet a lot of people from Metaline Falls here.
