This campground is so good. A great place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Lower Falls Campground is Lewis River - North Fork; hiking along the Muddy River Trail is magnificent fun. Among the things you can do in close proximity to Lower Falls Campground are swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of cool stuff to do won’t happen. Many folks camp here to be next to Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The high level of precipitation makes Lower Falls Campground a reasonably wet place; December is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month.
