| | Longmire Campground is a delightful camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Northern Cascade Range. Gifford Pinchot National Forest is a brilliant site to stretch your legs a bit, and Johnson Lake is a nice lake close by. There's a load of outdoors recreation available in the neighborhood such as fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so it's totally impossible to get bored. Lots of precipitation falls at Longmire Campground; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. |
Having a glorious time in the Northern Cascade Range is uncomplicated. The summit of Cougar Rock can be seen from Longmire Campground; swing by Devils Dream Creek it's a splendid place to have a look at. Camping out positively is an entertaining thing to do, and Longmire Campground

campground. The warmest time of the year at Longmire Campground comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 40's while Longmire Campground night low temperatures through the winter
are in the 30's. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. If you want to have a look at some exciting stuff, have a look at The Ramparts; there's pleasant hiking along the Moraine Trail. Don’t forget to stop at Longmire Meadow since you're here at
Longmire Campground, and Mount Rainier National Park is a glorious site nearby. While visiting this area in Washington it's a tremendous idea to go camping too. A campground like this is too splendid to miss. When you're here at Longmire Campground it's always fun to pop by
Federation Forest State Park, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Big Creek Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Skate Creek, and tremendous hiking is available along the Silver Creek Trail. Lots of people stay here to
be near Mount Rainier National Park. This campground is so splendid. Get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Silver Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Longmire Campground; Skyline Trail is a great local trail.
