There's more to do right next door to Long Swamp Campground other than just hanging out such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen. You absolutely should go for the Northern Cascade Range. There's some flowing water close by, Wildhorse Creek is a stream you can take a look at while here, and great skiing awaits you at Loup Loup Ski Bowl. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Chewuch River, and a swamp like Long Swamp right next door to Long Swamp Campground has lots of exciting things to see. Long Swamp Campground is pretty arid regularly; most of the snow falls during December, and July on the other hand is the driest.
