If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. The warmest time of the year at Lone Peak Campground comes with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Lake Chelan State Park is a tremendous site to stretch your legs a bit. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do right next door to Lone Peak Campground, and lots of people like to come here to get away.
