Near Lake Wenatchee Campground you stumble on the Hunters Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Plainview Creek. So many local attractions and such a great deal of things to do are fine motives to come. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. You can run the rapids of Nason River next to Lake Wenatchee Campground; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Duncan Hill Trail. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade |
Range will keep you coming back persistently. There are some fine whitewater spots on Nason River; there are other sites here than Lake Wenatchee Campground, for example Hidden Lake. The surroundings of this campground have so many things to offer. This is in fact a good campground.
| You can catch a glimpse of Dirty Face Mountain from Lake Wenatchee Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Icicle Trail. Summertime highs at Lake Wenatchee Campground usually tend to be in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 40's. A lot of folks stay here for the purpose of being in the vicinity of Lake Wenatchee State Park.
