highs here at Kachess Campground reach the 60's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Kachess Campground plunge into the 10's. You'll in fact wish for
| more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Northern Cascade Range. Take a little trip to Box Canyon Creek while you're here at Kachess Campground; get yourself into a kayak and hit Box Canyon Creek. Iron Horse State Park is a good location to go if you're at Kachess Campground, and there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Kachess Ridge Trail. Kachess Lake is a lake in the neighborhood; the Cooper Pass Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. The magnificent variety of local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are tremendous reasons to come. A lot of folks stay at this campground to be near Lake Easton
State Park. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Kachess Campground has it all. Gotta ski! Summit at Snoqualmie is a magnificent place to do that; you can go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 25. This campground has so many amusing things to offer.
If you come at the right time of year, Cooper River offers some nice whitewater; going for a hike on the Escondido Trail is always a splendid adventure. This camp ground is situated in the gorgeous Northern Cascade Range. Some of the things you can do here at Kachess Campground
are swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so almost certainly you want to stay for a while. Kachess Campground gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the snow is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
