The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always stunning. This campground is always a delight. Float   down the rapids of Box Canyon Creek in a kayak, and this is a popular site for folks from Easton. So many exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range, just extraordinary. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cle Elum River; don't forget to take a perfect little journey to Box Canyon Creek. And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. A lake nearby is Little Kachess Lake, and there are great locations to discover along the Cooper Pass Trail. A good deal of precipitation falls at Kachess Campground; January is the wettest month with most snow; July on the other hand is the driest. Scores of folks stay at Kachess Campground so they can go to Lake Easton State Park. This is such a fun location for a campground. Iron Horse State Park is a gorgeous place any time of year, and you can go for a hike on the Kachess Ridge Trail.
