Kachess Campground, Northern Cascade Range, Washington

  Kachess Campground is frequently visited by folks from Easton. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Kachess Campground reach the 60's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 20's; overnight lows at Kachess Campground during the winter frequently drop into the 10's. Ready to raise that tent of yours; Kachess Campground in Washington is a good site to go.
If you come at the right time of year, Cooper River offers some glorious whitewater; why not take a refreshing hike along the
    Domerie Peak Trail. Good hiking is available along the Escondido Trail, and Lake Easton State Park is a pleasant site to stretch your legs a bit. Washington is a good outdoors state.

There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Snoqualmie, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Kachess Campground; Pacific Crest Trail - section 25 is a great local trail.

down the rapids of Box Canyon Creek in a kayak, and this is a popular site for folks from Easton. So many exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range, just extraordinary. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cle Elum River; don't forget to take a perfect little journey to Box Canyon Creek.
And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. A lake nearby is Little Kachess Lake, and there are great locations to discover along the Cooper Pass Trail. A good deal of precipitation falls at Kachess Campground; January is the wettest month with most snow; July on the other hand is the driest.
Scores of folks stay at Kachess Campground so they can go to Lake Easton State Park. This is such a fun location for a campground. Iron Horse State Park is a gorgeous place any time of year, and you can go for a hike on the Kachess Ridge Trail.
